Wine cellar area Plže

Welcome to the most beautiful area of wine cellars in Moravia - a collection of original wine cellars Plže, which was declared a monument reservation of folk architecture. While walking through the picturesque streets you can admire the interesting blue decorations of the cellars, which are unique to this village.

There are about 80 wine cellars built in the 15th century. The cellars were built by wine-growers themselves. The wine cellars create a street-level building with two squares. The resort is popular with tourists and there is a great deal of wine tourism.

It is open to the public all year round. During the summer, a wine cellar is open at the beginning of the reservation, where a tourist can taste local wines. The municipality built the public sanitary facilities in the area in 2005. There are many cultural events during the summer months.
