Rifugio Don Zio Pisoni

Just a few steps from the top of Monte Casale (the most panoramic mountain in the valley), the Rifugio don Zio Pisoni enjoys a unique position, at an altitude of 1600 metres with a 360° view of the most beautiful peaks, lakes and valleys of Trentino.

From the summit (1632m.) a few steps from the refuge it is not uncommon, in fact, to be able to see from the extreme south of Lake Garda to the highest peaks of Adamello. Passing then, with your eyes, from the Brenta Group to Paganella you can admire the many lakes housed by the surrounding valleys.

One of the unmissable moments is the beginning of May and spring in general, when the farmhouse gives its best. With its spectacular flowering of numerous medicinal plants and flowers, it will transport you to an unforgettable setting. Equally unmissable are the magical and bright nights of the full moon. The darkest nights of the new moon, on the other hand, will allow you to easily observe the stars and their constellations in a unique setting.

Our home cooking will offer traditional Trentino hot meals with a focus on local ingredients and products. Our specialty is the unique dish of the refuge with Storo polenta, sauerkraut stew and melted cheese. If you are vegetarian or intolerant to any ingredient do not worry, we are sensitive to the various needs of our customers and you can always find an alternative that suits you! Don't forget to try our desserts like cakes, tarts or strudels that we passionately bake every morning!

A haven not to be missed, in a breathtaking place accessible to all: from the youngest to the oldest. In fact, there are numerous possibilities and access routes to reach us on foot and by bike through the numerous trails, climbing or climbing one of the most famous via ferrata: "La Che Guevara". Finally, families and the less adventurous can reach us by car by parking comfortably a few steps from the refuge, in this case pay attention to the indications of Google Maps that are not correct.
