Die Auberge liegt am oberen Ortsrand von Mex neben einem großen Wanderparkplatz. Von hier führen zahlreiche Wanderwege in die Umgebung. Sie ist ein möglicher Ausgangs- oder Stützpunkt der "Tour Dents du Midi (TDM)". Sie bietet neben einer gutbürgerlichen Küche einfache Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten mit Duschen in familiärer Atmosphäre. Für Selbstversorger steht eine kleine Küche bereit.
