The history of the Eggenberg brewery in Český Krumlov dates back to 7. 9. 1991.

The history of the Eggenberg brewery in Český Krumlov dates back to 7. 9. 1991. Within the process of “small privatization”, the brewery was sold as part of the national corporation of Jihočeské pivovary. In spring 2014, beer production in the original premises was terminated and the range of beers was made by the brewery in Pardubice. In December 2015, the company Brewery Český Krumlov s.r.o. built a new Eggenberg Mini Brewery with an annual production of 5,000 hectolitres; it started its production in spring 2016.
