Light & Landscape

From October 1 to 18, 2026, the fun on the “Familienberg” is far from over when the sun goes down. That’s when the lights come on here. Look forward to fascinating moments of light, surprising installations, and a varied supporting program.
The artistic design of Light & Landscape is by Julian & Noëmi Bräm | Julian Valentin Design Studio. Through their art, they transform Sattel-Hochstuckli into a very special landscape of light.
The walk through the light landscape takes about 40 minutes. The light installations are located outdoors. We recommend wearing weather-appropriate clothing and sturdy shoes.
Light & Landscape is accompanied by various events and special experiences: - An evening of legends with views in all directions from the Mostelberg, Saturday, October 3, 2026 | 6:30 p.m. - Guided hike to Hochstuckli, Sunday, October 4 and 18, 2026 | 6:00 p.m.
Music at Light & Landscape: On select evenings, the light landscape will be accompanied by music.

- Saturday, October 3, 2026 | Bernhard Betschart | Naturjuuzer A voice you’ll recognize Bernhard Betschart from Muotathal is known far beyond the region. As a tenor and yodeler with Heimweh, he is one of the defining voices of Swiss folk music. With Heimweh, he has won the Prix Walo and the Swiss Music Award three times, among other accolades. On the Mostelberg, he will present his “Naturjuuzer.” A special musical guest for a special evening.
