A winter tradition in Crans-Montana, the Lantern Path is one of the season’s most beloved attractions. Each year, thousands of visitors come to experience its enchanting atmosphere, delighting both children and adults alike.

A free experience open to everyone
Throughout the winter months, the Jack Nicklaus golf course is transformed into a magical Lantern Path. Usually reserved for golfers, this elegant setting lights up and invites visitors to wander through a sparkling winter landscape in the heart of Crans-Montana.Stretching for around 2 km, the route is accessible to all and takes about 45 minutes to complete. It is the perfect opportunity for a beautiful walk in nature, to be enjoyed with family or friends.

From December 4, 2026* to March 7, 2027*, from 5:30 pm to 10:00 pm, the Jack Nicklaus golf course transforms into a romantic Lantern Path.

Travel smart with public transport! The Lantern Path is just a short walk from the centre of Crans-Montana, so we recommend you take advantage of public transport and forget the hassle of driving.Bus stops to get to the Lantern Path departure points:CarPostal bus stop: Crans-Montana, Le Mèrignou

Access to Crans - Etang Long EntranceTo reach Crans, we recommend taking the Lens–Crans road. Once on site, several parking areas are available: ecommended car parks: P1 Parking Chetzeron and P2 Parking Grand Garage
Other car parks: P3 Parking du Rhodania, P4 Parking du Scandia, P5 Parking Sporting, P6 Parking Etang Long
Access to Montana – Lac Moubra Entrance
From Montana, you can easily reach the Chemin des Lanternes by parking at the Chemin des Lanternes Parking (Camping de la Moubra Parking).
Please follow the indications and signage available on site.
