Landau's "Underworld" - Tour in the fortress tunnels at Lunette 41.
The Fortress Construction Association Landau aims to enable many interested citizens and visitors of the city of Landau to explore the underground tunnels in Savoyenpark and to uncover the historical backgrounds of the Vauban structures.

The tour begins at the French Gate. The meeting point is the Obertorplatz at the information column for the Vauban route. From there, the tour leads to the fortress structure Lunette 41 in Savoyenpark, which will be explored along with its impressive underground tunnels.
During the approximately two-hour walk, participants will learn interesting facts about the history of the Landau fortress and the fortifications built by Vauban. The historical backgrounds and significance of the buildings will be vividly conveyed.
Participation costs 10 € for adults and 5 € for children aged 6 to 15 years.
Children up to and including 5 years old and holders of the guest card "Pfalzcard" participate free of charge.
Sturdy footwear and weather-resistant clothing are recommended.
The tour is not barrier-free and lasts about 2 hours.
