From Treffurt Thuringia with inflatable boat to Wanfried Hesse

9th stage of the Werra Water Hiking Route: Approximately 20 km from Treffurt through the Thuringian-Hessian borderland via Wanfried to Eschwege. At Wanfried, a weir must be portaged.

11th stage of the Werra Water Hiking: About 17 km in the Werra Valley between the nature parks Eichsfeld-Hainich-Werratal and Meißner-Kaufunger-Wald from Wahlhausen to Witzenhausen.

10th stage of the Werra Water Hike: Approximately 22 km from Eschwege via Bad Sooden-Allendorf to Wahlhausen. In Eschwege and Bad Sooden-Allendorf, there are locks that can also be portaged.

12th stage of the Werra Water Hike: About 22 km from Witzenhausen to the Weserstein on the Tanzwerder in Hann. Münden (where the Werra and Fulda merge to form the Weser). At Hedemünden, a rapid section must be passed in the canal, and at the "Last Heller" and in Hann. Münden, weirs must be portaged.

6th stage of the Werra water hike: 26 km from the Klapperstörchen at Berka/Werra to the Wandervögel in Hörschel (near Eisenach), on this stage there are 2 weirs to carry around. Canoe/kayak tour in the western Thuringian border area to Hesse, which was sealed off as a restricted area for decades during the GDR era. The stage starts in the old half-timbered town of Berka/Werra and leads through the expanse of the Berka Basin north to Gerstungen. At Sallmannshausen, the river squeezes through a valley gate at the foothills of the Thuringian Forest, then turns eastwards in a large curve through the hilly landscape of the Thuringian Forest foreland. The stage ends at Hörschel, where Thuringia's best-known hiking trail begins: the Rennsteig.
