Bikepacking routes in Graz

The last 90 km of this autumn route went completely according to plan. The bike paths in this area of Austria are simply perfect. Also, there is always a guesthouse where thirst can be quenched.

Culinary delights and experiences on a wonderful 3-week cycling route from Engadin over the Reschen Pass and through the Vinschgau to Bolzano. Then from Brunico through the Hochpustertal via Carinthia to Lake Wörthersee and along the Drava via Slovenia to Western Styria to Graz. Then again northeast through the Salzkammergut to Salzburg and by train back to Zurich.

A varied loop tour from the Murtal River Valley through the historic town of Friesach all the way to the Drava River. Mountain side roads, bike paths, lakes, swimming spots, and quiet rural stretches alternate as the tour connects several distinct types of landscapes.

A sporty cycling tour starting in Graz through the Mura Valley, along the mountainous sections of the R7A, through the Lavant Valley, and along the Drava River. More than 400 km of varied cycling, featuring challenging climbs and long stretches through the valley.

The route is intended to commemorate the German-Hungarian friendship and connects the two partner cities Fellbach and Pécs. The route leads through the Alps, along the Mur and Drava rivers into the Pannonian Plain to Pécs. The route mainly follows well-rideable country roads and small side roads. The landscape is very varied and offers many interesting areas along the way. Those heading towards Romania can use the route as a sporty alternative to the Danube Cycle Path. Have fun!
