Built in 1829 and handed down from generation to generation, this large character house continues to be the scene of laughter, lively meals and shared family memories. Entirely renovated with care between 2017 and 2021, it has retained all its soul while offering today?s comforts. The owner, deeply attached to this place, opens his doors to you today to let you experience this unique atmosphere.With its 220 m² and 5 bedrooms, the gîte welcomes up to 10 people in a warm setting, ideal for vacations with family or friends. The large living spaces invite you to slow down, chat and enjoy the moment to the full: a game of table soccer in the upstairs great room, a board game evening, music (Spotify), a movie on the big screen (Netflix)... there's something for everyone.Outside, a veritable field of freedom awaits you. Over 5,000 m², children run, play and explore, while adults enjoy a lively game of pétanque, a barbecue in the sun or a moment of relaxation in the shade of the trees. After a day's hiking (starting from the house), skiing or biking in the magnificent Vosges countryside (Gérardmer 20 min away, La Bresse 25 min), it's time for wellness: sauna, peace and quiet, and an unobstructed view of the mountains.Designed to welcome all types of guests, the gîte is fully accessible to people with reduced mobility. On the first floor, there is a bedroom and adapted sanitary facilities. It is also possible to install two medical beds in one of the ground-floor bedrooms, which can be rented from the village pharmacy. The Gite du Four à Pain is located in Vagney, in a quiet area on the edge of a small dead-end road and close to the forest. An old building renovated into a typical chalet, it can accommodate up to six people in a warm, mountain-style setting. When the weather's fine, you can take advantage of the shady grounds. With its two bedrooms (each with a double and a single bed) perfect for a stay with family or friends, you'll find a living room with a wood-burning stove, a fully-equipped kitchen and bathroom with walk-in shower. The laundry room, equipped with washing machine, dryer and ironing board, connects to a shower room featuring a large walk-in shower and sauna. A games room features table soccer, darts and children's games. A garage provides storage space for motorcycles, bicycles and ski equipment. Upstairs, the fully-equipped kitchen has everything you need: four induction hobs, oven, American fridge with freezer, dishwasher, bean-to-cup coffee maker, toaster, kettle, raclette machine, fondue machine and connected multifunction food processor. All kitchen utensils are supplied. The adjoining dining room, set in a veranda, seats up to 10 around a large table, with board games available. The living room, equipped with sofa, TV and WiFi, extends into a leisure area with pool table. A second bathroom with walk-in shower (90×180), towel rail and hairdryer is also located on this floor. On the second floor, two bedrooms each have a double bed (160×200). A third bedroom, a family room, offers two single beds (90×190) and a double bed (160×200), as well as a study area with screen.
