We are a family and child-friendly farm in a quiet, relaxing location, in the middle of greenery and yet only a 15-minute walk to the nearby district town of Spittal an der Drau.Lake Millstätter See can be reached by car in only 8 minutes. We offer you pure nature with many possibilities to relax in a familiar atmosphere; this includes: generous lawn for sunbathing, extensive green areas around the house, playground, many large and small animals, friendly, bright rooms with shower/WC or balcony and many farm products such as bacon, sausage, eggs, wood-fired bread, dairy products, house fire, ........

Directly from our countryside inn, you head into the woods to explore the old Ortenburg and enjoy the tranquility, the air, and the silence. For cyclists, the Drauradweg is in immediate vicinity. And of course, you can head up to our local mountain: the Goldeck, all year round. From spring to autumn, it is a wonderful mountain for hiking, and in winter, it is easy to walk to the valley station of the cable car, which takes you to the summit in a few minutes. The Goldeck is a wonderful, manageable family ski mountain with all levels of difficulty. For ski tourers and snowshoe hikers, the sun shines here as well. After sport, we recommend visiting the Drautalperle in Spittal to swim away your sore muscles. Just a few minutes by car lies Lake Millstatt, the most water-rich and deepest lake in Carinthia. Warm up to 26 degrees in summer, it is a wonderful swimming lake. In addition to swimming, it offers all water sports and can be beautifully cycled around. The Millstätter Alpe offers hiking outings for the whole family and many managed alpine huts provide an incomparable panorama over the lake and the southern foothills of the Alps. Millstatt is also a cultural center with museums, galleries, and music events. Equally distant is the Drautal, which primarily offers beautiful mountain hikes. The wild Mölltal with Austria's highest mountain, the Groβglockner, is always worth a trip in every season! In winter, in addition to the Goldeck, there are other ski areas nearby such as Bad Kleinkirchheim, Turrach, Emberger Alm, or particularly snow-sure: the Mölltal Glacier. Holiday in the middle of nature Our house is surrounded by nature. Surrounded by the lush green of our garden, surrounded by a small brook that runs right past the property and embedded in the wonderful mountain scenery of the Hohe Tauern and the Gailtal Alps. Our garden is a gem. We attach great importance to the fact that bees and butterflies find flowers to stay. We grow our own vegetables and harvest the fruits of the countless fruit trees. Our guests can also enjoy it. But much more applies: make your holiday completely according to your wishes. We are the perfect starting point for countless activities in the surrounding mountains - in summer for hiking or swimming in the surrounding lakes, and of course in winter for skiing or just for winter hiking in the fresh snow. By the way: our mountain Goldeck is a stone's throw away and is probably one of the most beautiful skiing and hiking areas in Carinthia. But of course the garden invites you to linger. The Goldeck is a wonderful ski and excursion area in upper carinthia. The sun-kissed Goldeck can be easily reached with the 8-seater gondola „Talbahn Goldeck“ from Baldramsdorf/Spittal an der Drau. The Goldeck offers a mondern ski infrastructure for skiers and snowboarders and is also a pleasure for snowshoe hikers and ski tourers - there is a separate ski tour trail available for ski tour beginners.
