Accessible holidays in Sölden

💚 The Timmelsjoch demands a solid portion of skill in the advanced art of pass riding. Closed to trucks on the Italian side, the route belongs to us bikers and convertible drivers.

This is one of the favorite pastimes of Tyrolean cabrio lovers & bikers on weekends

Gaislachkoglbahn – Gaislachalm – Sonneck – Löple Alm – Goldegg Alm – Rauth Alm - Sölden

The route is as follows: Take the Bergbahn Gaislachkogelbahn to the middle station, where you transfer to the Gaislachkogelbahn II. This will take you to the mountain station. From there, walk towards the middle station via a nice wide sandy path, then walk towards Hühnersteign for a tasty bite to eat. Next, walk back along small paths via the Gletscherstrasse to Sölden.

Sölden – Brunnenbergalm (Falkner Inn) – Zwieselstein – Kühtreienschlucht – Moosalm - Sölden.

Zwieselstein - Timmeltalbach Waterfall – Sahnestüberl – Lenzenalm – Zwieselstein.

The route starts at Fiegl's Hutte, which you can walk to or take the Wanderbus from Sölden. From Fiegl's Hutte, walk along a normal gravel/sand path towards a small forest path where you will see a sign for Stallwies Alm. Once you arrive there, you can enjoy a delicious meal. Then continue along the Waalweg, a beautiful route that takes you past a waterfall and then a river. Along the river, you can read stories about the river and interesting facts. Very interesting if you like this kind of thing. Eventually, you will end up back down in the valley.
