Accessible holidays in Lorraine

Route along the Blies between Blieskastel-Lautzkirchen and Gersheim-Reinheim in the Bliesgau Biosphere Reserve on fully paved ground with no inclines. The approximately 16 km long cycle path is suitable for all types of bicycles: from thin-tired racing bikes to mountain bikes.

The family-friendly, completely flat route leads along the Saar riverbank from Sarreguemines in France to Konz, where the Saar and Mosel rivers meet.

From the stadium, our starting point, this walk takes us from hamlet to hamlet through gently managed nature. You will come across beautiful meadows, cows or horses grazing, fodder crops; in short, the real countryside!

The proposed circuit allows discovering many aquatic aspects of Metz, following the different branches of the Moselle, the Seille, the canals, and the pond, linking the main islands by multiple bridges, while showing some of the beautiful fountains and water features of the parks along the way.
