Nice running route through the Diemel valley on the Diemel cycle path and sections of the Butterfly Trail. The running length is just under 11.5 kilometers and has about 150 meters of elevation gain. The route runs mostly on gravel field and bike paths and is usable year-round. The route is suitable for both runners and Nordic walkers. It's also a nice and adventurous route for hikers.

This circular tour meets all the demands for touring with mountain bikes (MTB & eMTB) or trekking bikes that is conducted mostly off public roads. The route runs on public field, meadow, and forest paths, taking into account general nature conservation regulations and the environmental rules of the BDR, around Edermünde and the Baunatal area. The natural experience is the focus of this tour and aims to make a positive contribution against "wild" biking across woods and fields. The route leads over easy-to-ride and wide paths, making it suitable for beginners and families. It is recommended for the start of the season to redevelop the feel of the bike and initially concentrate on kilometers and elevation meters. Fair Riding in Nature and Environment Especially on hiking trails, great consideration must be given to other people seeking recreation (hikers, riders, walkers). Approaching slowly and friendly greetings are a matter of courtesy. Technically flawless bikes and adherence to the paths are an indispensable must.
