Accessible holidays in Großarltal

This beautiful hiking route is recommended both in summer and in winter. It mostly follows the Ache, with plenty of benches to rest and guaranteed wonderful views. The hiking path is completely paved. It is best to follow the green bike path signs.

Official bike route in the Großarltal. Marked with the green bike path signs of the state of Salzburg. Most mountain bike routes in the Großarl valley start from this route.                                 !ATTENTION! Valid from 15 July 2025: Partial closure/diversion of the bike route from the mountain cable car parking lot to the junction Marktstraße/Gemeindestraße (municipal office)! ●Recommended detour towards Großarl: At the Unterbergstraße junction (Chaletdorf Holzlebn) turn left onto L109, follow it towards Großarl to the Großarl Nord entrance, turn left and follow the road to the municipal office! ●Recommended detour towards St. Johann i. Pg.: At the municipal office turn left onto Gemeindestraße, follow it to the roundabout, go straight onto Unterbergstraße and at Hotel Edelweiss turn right to the mountain cable car parking lot, drive this through to the end of Bachseitiegen. From here continue on the bike path.
