Accessible holidays in Folgaria

This is one of the most interesting thematic routes on the Alpe Cimbra, dedicated to water and its use over time in the rural mountain economy. It can also be easily walked by families with children (+ 6 years). Not recommended in rainy weather, on slippery ground and in the event of torrent flooding.

Spectacular route among the Austro-Hungarian fortresses of the Alpe di Folgaria. Challenging, it requires good training in the first section, from Folgaria to Fort Dosso delle Somme. After that it runs along the ridges and back to Folgaria with mostly downhill stretches. It is a succession of panoramas, suggestions of history, climbs and descents.

A beautiful, very scenic, circular route around Monte Toraro. It reaches sella Valbona and returns to Lago Coe. The views of the Veneto-Vicentine valleys are to be framed!

The Rifugio Stella D’Italia is one of the most popular in the area.

The Coe pond is wonderful and there are two small options to consider: Base Tuono (former NATO missile base) easy and Malga Melegna (steeper)

Among the walks in Trentino, simpler and more interesting, the Water Trail is an easy route along the springs of the Astico river. The start is a short distance from the center of Carbonare.

A route that combines the pleasure of hiking with historical, naturalistic, and sporting interest. It allows a visit to the 18th-century Maso Spilzi, the Costa Golf Course, the Ecken biotope (protected area), and the Sanctuary of Madonna delle Grazie (16th century). Easy, also recommended for families with children, even with strollers and for wheelchair users with external assistance.

The Echen Nature Reserve, on the Folgaria plateau, is a small corner of unspoiled nature. It is located in the suburb area of Costa and is adjacent to the Maso Spilzi golf course.
