The most popular hiking trail in Eichsfeld. Also suitable for a Sunday stroll.
On the circular hiking trail, you will get to know the most important habitats in the nature park in a very short time. Along the old railway embankment, hedgerow landscapes with an exceptionally rich animal and plant life have developed. At Dieteröder Höhe, a "primeval forest" is developing where humans consciously do not interfere. Here, trees grow and die as nature dictates. Enjoy one of the most beautiful views over the nature park from the Dieteröder Cliffs.
