Tag 8. Ein 390 km langer Fahrtag von der Universitätsstadt Tartu in Estland zur Burgstadt Cēsis in Lettland. Unterwegs erfuhr ich von einem Schlaumeier, dass 55 % der Straßen in Lettland Schotterwege sind. Das sind über 11.000 km Schotterstraßen, und heute fanden wir mindestens 200 Kilometer davon. Heute unterwegs machten wir einen 'Besuch' am prächtigen Schloss Cesvain, bevor wir wanderten... sorry... einen gemütlichen Spaziergang zum höchsten Punkt in Estland (Suur Munamagi 318m) und Lettland (Gaizinkalns 311m) unternahmen. Wenn beide Wanderungen eine kombinierte Höhe von über 100 m hätten, würde ich lügen, aber sie zählen alle. Die höchsten Punkte der Länder Nr. 26 & 27 geschafft 😇.
