Camminata di 3 ore all'incirca che parte dal paese di Caprona, sale a Prato a Ceccottino attraverso la Verruca e rientra scendendo per la Chiesa di Sant'Agostino.
A 3-hour trekking that starts from the town of Caprona, goes up to "Prato a Ceccottino" through the Verruca and returns by going down to the Church of Sant'Agostino.
Si parcheggia la macchina alla fine del paese. Si prende il sentiero che porta a Prato a Ceccottino raggiungendo prima la Foretta per comoda strada sterrata e poi per sentiero nel bosto. Peccato per il bosco che ancora deve riprendersi dall'incendio di qualche tempo fa sul Monte Serra. Raggiunto il punto più alto, si scende sempre per un sentiero fino alla Chiesa di Sant'Agostino e qui, per un argine, fino al punto di inizio del giro.
The car is parked at the end of Caprona town. Take the path that leads to "Prato a Ceccottino" reaching first "la Foretta" by a comfortable unpaved road and then by a path in the must yet damaged by the fire of some time ago in "Monte Serra". Once you reach the highest point, you deschend through a path that reach Church of Sant'Agostino and here, along an embankment, to the starting point of the tour.

Anfahrt
Da Pisa, seguire per la Strada Provinciale 2 Vicarese fino a raggiungere il paese di Caprona. Seguire i sensi unici all'interno del paese fino a raggiunger l'angolo di Via delle Cave con Via Dante Alighieri dove parcheggiare negli spazi appositi.
From Pisa, follow the Provincial Road 2 Vicarese until you reach the town of Caprona. Follow the one-way streets within the town until you reach the corner of "Via delle Cave" with "Via Dante Alighieri" where you can park in the appropriate spaces.
