Autorentipp
Especially in October, the tour is very nice, when the larches change color, there is a special atmosphere on the mountain slopes.

Wegearten
Wegbeschreibung
Directions from the second car park, which is also the starting point in the map. Follow the Pfunderer-Creek and trail no. 13. In the following trail no. 13 goes to the right, we do not, we stay by the stream and follow the path no. 18. With the path no. 18 we leave the Pfundererbach and follow the Weissteiner-Creek. We follow the path to the Vals-Pasture. The Pasture is not gastronomically managed. On the way to the pasture you can always enjoy beautiful views of the valley behind you. After the pasture it goes up to Vals-Saddle. Here are about 250 steep vertical meters to overcome. In the saddle you have a nice view into 2 valleys. The Way follows along the mountain you have a nice view into the Eisbrugg-Valley and soon on the lake and the bolder field lying in front of you. This must be crossed and can not be rerouted. The crossing requires some surefootedness but is no problem for experienced hikers. When you reach the lake you see the rebuilt Edelrauth-Lodge up in the Eisbrugg-Saddle. This is managed. Those who are not afraid of the additional 300 vertical meters can stop up there and enjoy the view of the lake and the valley.
The descent is via the trail no. 13, which is also the Pfunderer Höhenweg (Hightway (?)). On the way through the valley, the Pfunderer-Creek accompanies us. We pass the Eisbrugg-Pasture, which is not managed. Two times ways go to the right, but we stay on our way no. 13, which now also bears the name Via Alpina (red way). You walk through a beautiful narrow valley and you can always hear the sound of the Pfunderer-Creek. The path always offers beautiful views of the valley and the Egger-Boden-Pasture (on my tour it was managed, I do not know if this is always so). The Pfunderer-Creek takes us back to the parking lot.

Anfahrt
It is best to program Vintl - Vandoies into the navigation, so you get to the Pfunderer-Valley. Then follow the LS153 to Pfunders and drive through the town. From the LS153 there is a small road that divides, keep left here. Follow the road, left flows the Pfunderer-Creek. In the Outdooractive map, a parking lot is located, its use in 2018/2019 maybe limited, here a hydroelectric power plant is under construction. Keep left (hiking trail no. 17) and continue for about 500 m on the narrow road, then you reach another parking (about 5 to 6 places) in front of a bridge. After that there is no further parking.
Parken
In the approach two parking spaces are described. Both have about 5-6 parking spaces each. The offer is so very limited and you should be there early, if you do not want to experience a surprise.
