Zelo razgibana pot. Veliko goznih poti, le malo asfalta, Nekaj malega peš poti. Veliko razgledov, Vožnja mimo vinogradov, potočkov, izvirov...

From Prezid the trail is really nice, enjoy a nice breakfast on the trail in behind Prezid. Conti ur on the trail until you find the river bed. The are a few drops which are dosble if you take off your backpack. Watch out for a trail above you on your right. You may need to climb up a couple meters, which is also doable. Hike down to the river bed and follow it. Here you have yo use your gps device to join the trail on the right of the bed. It should be a U shape. From there its a beautiful hike to a source, where you can enjoy a cold cup of water and wash you feet in the river. I dont recommed doing stage 2 and 3 in one day as stage 3 is really bad and there is no good place to sleep

That trail from Kozij Vrh to Čabar seems to be maintained now. I didn't find it as horrible as I read in all the comments. Actually really nice! You shouldn't miss that part.

We very much enjoyed this trail. It is a nice combination of nature and culture. It passes through some beautiful natural scenery as well as several villages. Thanks again to Eva for her great work! NOTES: - You walk through dense bear territory. Nothing to be afraid of, if informed on how to behave in such area’s. - The total km’s might be a bit lower as there are several jumps in the GPS - Mountain hut Javorova Kosa has a shelter, but no water outside. If you walk 5 min. south there is a watch tower. - Mountain hut Klek has a shelter, but no water outside. - Call ahead for the mountains hut to inform if they are open. - Be aware the Plitvice Lakes NP is rather touristic and it might be hard to find a wild/garden camp there. ALTERNATIVES: - From Vrh till Vrbovsko is a lot on the road and rather boring, would be nice to find an alternative there. - From Vrbovsko to Plaski we propose this alternative: Vrbovsko - Plaski alternative EVA’S Via Dinarica Green Trail - From Plaski to Plitvice we propose this alternative: Plaski Plitvice alternative EVA’S Via Dinarica Green Trail PRACTICALITIES: - Food: there are many small grocery stores on the way. We got supplies in: Brod na Kupi, Skrad, Vrbovsko, Ogulin, Plaski, Saborsko, Selište Drežničko - Water: no problem, just ask at houses. The only long stretch is from Vrbovsko till just after Klek (27 km) - Sleeping: we mainly did garden camps. But wild camping also possible. Many accommodation possibilities along the trail.

On a nice, hot July day, the tour was ideal. Nature is very beautiful.

First of all, thanks a lot Eva for all the great work! We entered this route from the Alpe Adria (till Tolmin), via Idrija. Suggestions: - If the water in Cerknisko Jezero is high, you can also go from Dolenje Jezero to Otok, and continue to Laze, Gorenje Jezero, Dane, Podcerkev and then up to Stari Trg and enter this route again. - In Podcerkev there is a very nice hostel, Ars Viva, which we highly recommend.
