Lyngen

Can recommend it also in winter if you have snow shoes, however the path is not so well visible, of course that also depends on the snow, i had around 1,5 meters and when you leave the bigger road you have some signs, but i was then later lost, with no signs near the path from the app, but manged to get to the goal, since there was only snow, so no path needed. There are some snow mobiles driving around, so you can also use their ways, but without snow shoes no chance to get the whole way.

It's definitely not an easy walk, and worth to mention we have to walk a significant amount of distance in peat bogs, which are really soft and wet, even a long time after rain. Gaiters and waterproof boots mandatory, and the walking time shown here is definitely too short.

If you are in Lyngen, definitely hike this mountain. The view to the turquoise Fjord in the valley is amazing. The path is quite clear at the beginning but as you get over the tree line can easily be confused with paths made by the sheep, that lead into nowhere. The marking in this section is basically not existent, except for parts where the right way is obvious anyways, so make sure to bring a map or download the Outdooractive map. On top you will have to make your way through a lot of loose stones which can be challenging but is quite doable if you find a good path for yourself. Also the parking lot is free which is quite exceptional for a hike in Lyngen 🙃
