Explore the Peak District
The Peak District National Park is ideal for anyone keen to be active during their stay in the Derbyshire area. It is both easily accessible and well worth visiting from Derbyshire and the surrounding areas. The hills of the national park run through the landscape with both gentle and striking elevations - hikers of all abilities will find a suitable trail for their needs.
Why not try walking on the disused railway tracks from Ashbourne to Parsley Hay. During this route, you will be left breathless, not only from the physical challenge but by the lovely landscape surrounding you. If this is not enough, you can continue your adventure on the High Peak Trail - where you will be sure to give your legs a real push!
