Pull over and relax with a view up the Sandsfjord
At this roadside viewpoint along the Ryfylke scenic route, a small walkway leads to a seating area with views into the Sandsfjord. The layers of mountains that line the fjord lead your eye to the horizon with green and blue dominating the landscape. Stop for a break and enjoy a picnic with a view.
Facts
- The viewpoint was was designed by KAP - Kontor for Arkitektur og Plan and completed in 2018.
- The Norwegian artist Lars Hertervig found a great deal of inspiration in the landscape of this area.
