If you are using satellite navigation you may be given a different route, if you program it via the A545 not the B5109. Our directions take into account the inclement weather conditions which can affect various roads. If in doubt check with AA Roadwatch before you leave home. Thank you.

PLEASE NOTE: North Wales Police permanently run their ‘Arrive Alive’ Campaign, which effectively means automatic prosecution for exceeding any speed limit – zero tolerance. There are mobile cameras positioned in white or blue vans and an increasing number of hand held cameras are being used by the police. As the speed limits change frequently, please take care. I’d rather you didn’t return home to a letter from North Wales Police as a reminder of your stay with us.

Travel west on the A55 following signs to Holyhead. If you need to stop for shopping there is a large Tesco Extra just down the slip road at Junction 10. Turn right at the roundabout at the end of the slip road. Otherwise continue to Britannia Bridge which will take you across the Menai Strait to Anglesey.

As soon as you cross the bridge turn off at Junction 8A (signposted Beaumaris) and go immediately into the right hand lane. (This must be one of the shortest slip roads ever!) Follow signs for Beaumaris (A545) towards Menai Bridge town. At the first roundabout take the third exit signed Beaumaris and continue past the Menai Bridge, Waitrose, to the next roundabout, take the first exit and following the sign to Beaumaris (A545). Do not cross the Menai Suspension Bridge (the bridge) as this will take you back over to the mainland.

Continue on the A545 through Menai Bridge town and after approx 4½miles you reach Beaumaris, (do not follow the sign for Baron Hill Golf Course). Continue through the town, leaving Beaumaris Castle on the left. (Sat Nav will take you up Church Lane which is a narrow lane).

After approx ½ mile take the first left turn, sign posted Henllys Golf Course and Llanfaes. After several hundred yards turn first left again (opposite the local housing estate). At the top of the narrow lane (and as the road bears sharp left) take the right turn into the site. Follow the drive passing the golf club on the left and ignoring the turn to the right, straight on to Reception, which is in the Main House. Parking is available outside the entrance whilst you collect your apartment keys.

TRAVELLING FROM HOLYHEAD

Follow A55 signposted Bangor. Leave the A55 at Junction 8 signposted Benllech, Amlwch. Turn left at the top of the slip road. At the roundabout take the 3rd exit on to the B5420 (signposted Menai Bridge, Beaumaris). Take the 1st exit at the next roundabout signposted Town Centre (Menai Bridge Town). At the T-junction turn left onto the A545 and follow the remainder of the instructions to Henllys from Menai Bridge Town.Welcome to Henllys – Croeso!
