Fernwanderwege im Peak District

Anspruchsvoller Fernwanderweg durch das Zentrum Englands von Edale im malerischen Peak District bis Kirk Yetholm in der schottischen Grenzregion

Die geänderte Strecke für 2022, bei der ein neuer Weg den Baley Hill hinaufführt zu einem neuen CP1 bei Hanson Grange.

Rundweg ab Yorkshire Bridge, der den Ladybower-Stausee, Bleaklow und den Kinder Scout umfasst.

Schöne Rundroute, obwohl der Anfang bis zum ersten Hügel ziemlich schwierig ist. Sobald die Höhe erreicht ist, bleibt der Weg auf Höhe, bis es die Jacobsleiter hinabgeht. Das Parken in Edale kostet etwa 6 £ für bis zu 10 Stunden, es gibt auch zwei nette Pubs zum Einkehren nach der Wanderung.

Start at Kidsgrove train station, with direct connections from nearby Stoke, Congleton and Macclesfield. Leave the trail at the North side of Whiteridges Wood, East of the Southern end of Bosley reservoir and head 1 mile East to finish at the The Ship Inn in nearby Wincle.

Route of the 17 mile Signpost Challenge Walk to be held this year on October 19th from marple Memorial Hall.

Day 3 (V.2) - Black Clough Waterfall to Bamford Edge

Day 2 (V.2) - Fairbrook Naze to Black Clough Waterfall. Multiple camping spots possible near Black Clough Waterfall.

Day 1 (V.2) - Edale to Fairbrook Naze. First possible campsite is near the Kinder Downfall (Waterfall). However, if that is not possible, we will trek further towards Fairbrook Naze and camp there.
