A Maspalomas Meander

I started walking from Playa del Inglés alone to Faro Dos, where I met 5 friends. From Faro Dos the six of us walked on to Parque Tony Gallardo, which is a park dedicated to Tony Gallardo a communist insurgent so hated by General Franco that he was jailed for 8 years for insurrection.

From the park we continued on to Faro de Maspalomas, where we had coffee then later a picnic lunch before returning to Faro Dos.

I said goodbye to four of my friends at Faro Dos and continued back to Playa del Inglés together with Peter.

Peter invited me up to his place in Apartamentos Iguazu, Av. de Tirajana for tea and cake. After tea I continued back to my place in Apartamentos Arco Iris, Calle Milan.

A delightful day out and one of Hilary's regular Thursday excursions.
