The Zourvas Monastery is accessible only by footpath and lies in a tranquil corner of Hydra. The stone-paved path leading to it was built by a single person.
Monastery that got its name by some local lord that had his house in the area. The date of its building remains unknown, however sources prove its existence since the 18th century . It originally was in operation as a mens' monastery and then turned to a womens' monastery (Nunnery) in the beginning of the 20th century. It is accessible only via the trail or via the stone-built path, built by a single person, that links the monastery with the bay of Ledeza. The monastery operates a small guest-house, however guests need to make arrangements and get permission prior to their arrival. Monastery tel. number: 22980 - 52715
