With a elevation of 248m Ditchling Beacon is the highest point located in East Sussex, England.
It's a large chalk hill with a steep northern face which is covered in open grassland as well as sheep-grazing areas. Ditchling Beacon is also the third highest point located on the South Downs with Butser Hill and Crown Tegleaze being the 2nd and 1st highest points.
