Getxo seaside e-bike tour

Embark on a full day beach adventure, beginning with a leisurely 4-hour guided e-bike tour in the morning, followed by an afternoon of exploration along the beautiful coast and authentic fisherman villages at your own pace. As you pedal, your local guide will share the transformation story of Bilbao's estuary from an industrial hub of shipyards and factories to a modern, open space.Your journey begins through areas once dominated by shipbuilding activities and large steel factories. These neighbourhoods are now evolving into lively parts of the city's surroundings, adorned with green spaces, walking paths, and modern buildings. The route follows a comfortable riverside path devoid of hills and busy traffic, making it suitable for all levels.A notable part of the tour is crossing the renowned Bizkaia Bridge, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the world’s oldest working transporter bridge. You'll traverse the river on a moving platform, offering splendid views of the water and the two villages Portugalete and Getxo.Upon reaching the other side, you'll discover Bilbao’s Golden Coast of Getxo. Wealthy families built grand houses and seaside villas here. The streets are serene and verdant, leading to a 15-minute ocean-view ride. Your guide will then take you to Algorta's old fishermen’s harbour, a neighbourhood characterised by white houses, narrow alleys, fantastic views, and bars and restaurants. It's the ideal place to conclude the guided tour and commence your free afternoon.

• Please note that you need to select a minimum of 2 tickets per booking
• This activity takes place with a group of 2 to 12 people
• For riding an e-bike, a minimum height of 1.40 meters is required. Infants (age 0-4) can join for free and will get a child seat (maximum weight 24 kg). If you'll join the tour with an infant, please inform the local operator, so they can prepare everything. You'll find their contact data on your voucher after booking
• Helmets are mandatory for this tour and included in the price
• This activity consists in a 4-hour guided bike tour and free time with the bike in the afternoon until closing time (7pm mid March - October; 5 pm November - mid March)
