Il paese di Grindelwald, nell'Oberland Bernese, è una meta molto apprezzata dagli escursionisti. Potrai scegliere tra un'ampia varietà di sentieri che ti condurranno attraverso sognanti foreste di pini cembri, verso azzurri laghi di montagna o verso i più bei punti panoramici sulla famosa parete nord dell'Eiger. Sentieri ben segnalati, moderni impianti di risalita, numerosi ristoranti di montagna e rifugi del CAS completano l'esperienza e rendono la regione di Grindelwald un paradiso per gli escursionisti nel cuore delle Alpi svizzere.

    Beautiful views- a great first hike! Pay attention at Waldspitz- we followed the wrong arrow to Bort (the town not the lift- we think!) and had to backtrack. The map was correct, we were not!

    Eine lange, aber großteils sehr schöne Etappe! Eine Fahrt mit der historischen Zahnradbahn zum Reichenbachfall hoch (mit Gästekarte 3 Franken billiger) lohnt sich unbedingt, da man sonst gar nicht so nahe an die Wasserfälle herankommt, wenn man hochläuft. Der Abstieg von der großen Scheidegg nach Grindelwald lässt sich bei Bedarf mit dem Postauto an diversen Haltestellen verkürzen. Weil schlechtes Wetter drohte, sind wir von der Passhöhe ab nach unten gefahren.

    Sehr lohnende Tour, obwohl das letzte Stück vom Alpsee zur First (touristisch sehr überlaufen) kann man sich schenken u stattdessen zum Waldspitz absteigen(1h) u von dort den Postbus nehmen. Die Zeit u Höhenangaben stimmen hier nicht, errechnete Gehzeit 6h u doch gute 600hm abwärts.

    One of the best panoramic routs in the area. We started from First gondola station, walked to the Gr. Scheidegg and finished on the Bort gondola station. It's a bit shorter, ca. 13 km and less hight ascend. There are 2 ways: one is the narrow track with natural path, a bit higher, and another one, like on this map, on the wide road. Highly recommended. Thank you.

    It's a very nice route: extremely panoramic, but very easy. Interesting to see not melted yet glaciers on the way. The only minus is a huge and loud crowd, there is no way to enjoy the idillic place and relax. Other hiking trails in the region are not so busy. But this one definitely worth visiting. Recommended. Thank you.
