Many other paths/routes use exactly the same colours!- Do not blindly follow other walkers. Much of the route is extremely popular with other hikers, most of whom will be walking other routes.- If walking between May and October be sure to book at least one night ahead. Many of the gites d'etapes tend to be block-booked by large groups, who also dominate the dormatories.- If you have already walked the camino francis in Spain, please be aware thatheavier duty footware is required on this route. Many of the paths have large sharp stones.
