Sulle orme di AnnaNel quartiere di Dale, nella parte orientale della città insulare di Kristiansund, il reparto anziani del DNT ha creato un antico sentiero costiero. Si tratta del vecchio sentiero pedonale che Anna e la sua famiglia utilizzavano quasi quotidianamente. Anna era la moglie del guardiano del faro di Kvitneset. Insieme si trasferirono nel 1912 sulla penisola. Casa e cortile contavano presto 7 bambini, mucche, pecore e maiali. Quando il marito di Anna morì, lei ricevette il permesso di ricoprire questo incarico, poiché non si riusciva a trovare un nuovo guardiano del faro. Da allora Anna gestì la sua numerosa famiglia, la fattoria, il faro e guadagnò anche soldi con altre attività. Il suo percorso verso la città e quello scolastico dei bambini passava, con tutta la sua pericolosità durante vento e maltempo, proprio lungo quel tratto di costa rocciosa che ora è accessibile ai camminatori tramite catene di sicurezza. La storia di Anna a Kvitneset terminò nel 1940, quando le truppe tedesche occuparono la penisola e costruirono la batteria costiera dell'esercito (HKB) Nordlandet. È possibile visitare i resti di questa rete di bunker sparsi su tutta la penisola. La visita avviene a proprio rischio e con cautela assolutamente consigliata.
