    Sehr schöner Weg mit diversen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Großteils asphaltiert, aber wegen der reizvollen Umgebung trotzdem super. Tolle Aussicht vom Mirador oberhalb des Klosters. Alles gut begehbar. Einzig der Waldweg zur Cueva Santa ist etwas mühsamer und steiler.

    Sehr schöne Rundtour. Allerdings mit sehr langen, steilen Aufstiegen. Gute Schuhe, ggf. Stöcke und reichlich Wasser sind zu empfehlen. Der Ausblick auf dem Gipfel und des folgenden Abstiegs ist sensationell. Die Mühe lohnt sich.

    This was an excellent route! Perfectly described by the author. Well worth doing. Excellent way marks. Navigation was quite easy. Fantastic feeling of being up in the wilderness. Only one point I would add is that the start is actually at the entrance to the car park where you turn onto an open meadow heading uphil. You can clearly see tracks going left and right up ahead.

    A great walk but be prepared and take plenty of water and provisions. Also we tracked it to be more around 8 - 8.5 miles. Some very steep sections so make sure you have good footwear. We found a lovely little section on a river to cool down (see pic) it was just before you reach the built up area before Potes. Overall it was a great route, thanks to the author for sharing.

    An excellent hike, easier than it seems: it is NOT 900 meters of ascent. And you can easily skip the visit to the bivuac. This hike takes you deep into the Picos de Europa, with nice views the whole way. And the view only gets better as you walk.

    This is a very nice hike FOR EXPERIENCED HIKERS only. At the time of writing (Aug 2024) the path is not maintained, and much of the way is indistinct. You need to use your navigation skills and the GPS, and scramble up unmarked slopes. The views are wonderful, though, and the forest beautiful.

    Very nice walk around Potes. Duration 3:15, start before 11h in the summer as you will have the sun on all your way back.
