After a short and leisurely ascent across the sunny plateau at Watles to the Schafberg, we walk along not too steep paths to the Oberdorfer Alm in Zerzer Tal. We hike through the wonderfully quiet mountain valley back to the Reschenpass road at the Fischerhäusern.

The tour on the Piz Cristanas leads through lonely slopes to a mountain with a great view. Piz Cristanas offers views as far as Piz Buin and Piz Bernina in Switzerland. With a distance of almost 14 km and an ascent of about 1150 m, the tour requires good physical condition, but is doable. The last few metres to the summit are best done without skis, but with ski boots and poles.

Spektakuläre, lange Unternehmung mit ewiger Abfahrt. Bei der Tour des DAV Sektion Wiesbaden im April 2022 - zum Ausgang eines sehr schneearmen Winters - war die Querung auf den Freibrunner Ferner wie vorgeschlagen etwa bei Tour-km 9,2 durch den stark felsduchsetzten Hang (siehe Foto) nicht mehr möglich! Alternativ wurde weiter unten, etwa bei km 8,8 auf Höhe der Versattlung gequerrt, um auf den Freibrunner Ferner zu gelangen.
