The route to Cima Roma is suitable for the ski mountaineering beginners. The route, quite easy, is not dangerous and it is very famous. It has a long stretch on apparently flat ground and you have to put your skins also during the return. The arrival point, Cima Roma, is unbelievably scenic and suggestive. The climb takes about 2,30 hours and the downhill 1,30 hour.

Station of arrival of the Grostè cablecar (2437 m a.s.l.)
From the arrival station of the Grosté cablecar at 2437 m a.s.l. go up to the arrival of the Grostè chairlift and from here, going south-west, continue on an apparently flat ground, first up and then down, up to reach the north-east side of Cima Grostè (avoid going too up).
Go down diagonally in the following basin, heading south-east you reach Sella Flavona area at the foot of Cima Roma at 2550 m a.s.l. (1,30 hours). From here go up the steep side of Cima Roma easily up to the top (1,00-2,30 hours).
