This great mountain tour leads through the Val de Mesdi up to the Pisciadúseehütte, which is located in the middle of the Sella massif. Surefootedness and a head for heights are required.

This hike takes us from the idyllic village of Colfosco in the Alta Badia holiday region to high alpine terrain in the middle of the Sella massif. To do this, we follow the impressive Val de Mesdi a little way uphill and then climb up to the high plateau of Pisciadú. This passage is partly secured with ropes. There, at the Pisciadú lake hut, we enjoy a magnificent view of the surrounding rocky peaks. Behind the hut, we finally head back down the valley through the Val Setus. Caution is advised here due to the danger of falling rocks. In the valley we hike back to Colfosco via the alpine pastures and enjoy the views of the Pisciadù waterfalls.
