Panoramic tour to the Sassongher

This mountain hike with its many views takes us from Colfosco through the Edelweißtal valley to the Edelweißhut. From there we reach visibly steeper and more barren terrain. From the Sassongher-Scharte, wire ropes and artificial steps help us over steep steps to the summit cross. Surefootedness and a head for heights are absolutely essential here. Attention should also be paid to stone snakes. On the summit of the Sassongher, the landmark of Corvara, we are rewarded with a magnificent view of the main Alpine ridge, the Puez-Odle group, the Sella massif and the Marmolata. The view down to Corvara and Colfosco is also impressive. The Rück route is via the summit of Col Pradat.
