On just under 500 km, the Franconian Way takes us from the north of Franconia on 21 eventful stages to the Altmühltal Nature Park.
We start the tour in Untereichenstein in the north of Franconia. From here we hike the almost 500 km of the Franconian Way through the low mountain ranges, the Franconian Forest, the Upper Main Valley, Franconian Switzerland, the castles of the Franconian Alps, the Franconian Lake District and finally the Altmühl Valley Nature Park. This hike is characterised by its diversity, which nature and culture offer us on every single one of the 21 stages.
