Auf ca. 118 Kilomern durch herrliche Wälder und vorbei am Thüringer Meer

Der Start dieser Tour ist trügerisch, entlang der Saale macht die Strecke zunächst einen gemächlichen Eindruck. Allmählich wird es dann aber waldreicher – und bergiger. Die Kombination aus Steilhängen und Stauseen am "Thüringer Meer" lässt Fjord-Feeling aufkommen, benötigt aber Kondition (oder E-Unterstützung).
