The tower is located in a tranquil environment. Set off on a path leading to a sweet little pond and cross the water on arched timber bridges to reach the tower.
Walking upstairs you can observe the special structure: a tube-like gap runs all along in the center of the staircase. It is for a reason as the tower was designed to be an oil derrick and it was only later that it was reshaped into a lookout tower. Formerly on this very spot there used to be a 10-meter-high wooden structure, which was outgrown by trees.
The tower is interactive: it attracts children to climb the stairs in a playful way. At the first stopover you can get to know native bird species, at the second one you can scan the landscape through a telescope, and at the top you can identify the peaks and settlements easily with the help of information boards. Any level of the tower can be a perfect place to choose your next destination.
