Picnic Center and Forest School of Katalinpuszta
The park is located at the entrance to Börzsöny, Cserhát and Nógrád County where several hiking trails converge offering a great option for recreation in any season. The picnic center in Szendehely-Katalinpuszta at the northern foot of Naszály Hill provides facilities for interactive learning as part of thematic forest school programs, school excursions or summer camps. Nature trails, sport fields, a playground, picnic spots, fire pits, an interactive natural exhibition, a forest tea house, a shop and accommodation facilities all contribute to a memorable experience.

- Get off at bus stop “Szendehely, Katalinpuszta”.
Getting there
- From the bus stop head north along the Blue ◼ (K◼) markers. Exit the main road to the right. Past 1 km the trail joins the Blue (K) Trail. Continue to the left to reach the picnic center.
- From the parking lot follow the Blue ◼ (K◼) markers and turn left to continue along the Blue (K) Trail (300 m).
Parking
- Exit the road connecting Vác and Szendehely right before the exit sign of Szendehely-Katalinpuszta turn right (see sign for “Katalinpusztai Kirándulóközpont”).
- Paid parking past 700 meters on the left.
