Die Wendener Hütte ist ein in situ erhaltenes Technisches Kulturdenkmal und ein Museum zur Geschichte der Eisentechnologie im südlichen Westfalen. Die Hochofenanlage der Frühindustrialisierung (1728-1866) dokumentiert einen wesentlichen Markstein der industriellen Entwicklung Südwestfalens.
