The MMape is a fascinating sensory journey, that gives visitors a chance to taste sweet nectar and discover products from the hive, all produced locally.
Check out the wonderful world of bees; get to know their habits and their hardworking life in the hive… all this and more at MMAPE! A unique interactive visit that takes you into their world, listening to the sounds they make in their cells and observing a small larva turn into a bee. A sensory journey of discovery into mountain beekeeping and its sweet products.
MMape is part of the Uno Di Un Milione project. Here, through the QR codes on the original water bottles and the dedicated app, you can take part in an experience of art, relation and participation that will help you explore the water running through Val di Sole, discovering how the community in this valley has creatively imagined its own vision of protection for the environment and future generations. You can reach the town of Croviana with the TRENTO-MALÈ-MARILLEVA train (download train times out and back). The train stop is about ten minutes on foot from the museum.
Take the S.S. 42 state road to the fork for Malè Centro, turn right and follow Via di Carbonara for about 500 metres. Take the left-hand fork, following Via al Molin until you come to the museum.
You can visit the Mmape during a day’s cycling trip with friends and family as the museum is, in fact, not far from the Val di Sole cycle path, on a perfectly level stretch. Ideal for a pause while you learn!
