Dévényi Antal lookout tower- or the “Jenga” tower
The 11.5 meters high tower mostly made of larch has been named after Antal Dévényi, Bedő Albert prize winning forester. The design of its unique structure is based on the popular building-logical game, Jenga. With its almost 17 sqm floor area at the lookout level it has a panoramic view on Buda Hills and Pilis as well as Gete and Gerecse. You can expect an almost 270 degree view from there. The building itself is a column with a floor area of 4.2x 4.2 meters built from solid pine beams. 132 cubic meters of wood has been used for its structure. This building style may be familiar because of Jenga. Several houses, hotels, and tourist facilities have been built in this simple, pure architectural style.
Next to the tower a fire pit, tables with benches, and a tourist information board can be found.
