Freistein

Directly at the edge of Waischenfeld, this west face offers some of the best vertical climbing in the area. Footwork and finger strength is paramount for the small crimpers and pockets. There isn't a real warmup route around, so maybe stop by another crag before walking here if necessary. The easiest route, "Halluzination" is actually a quite challenging, but at the same time rewarding slab. The highlight of the main wall is "Break Free", but all the routes are worth trying.
